The Great Island Advisory Committee, in partnership with a design team led by Reed Hilderbrand, is developing a vision and master plan for the future of the Island. The vision and master plan will become the basis for design documents and will be used to budget and plan for capital projects to convert this once private estate into a space for all.

Throughout the 12-month project, the team will undertake a community-centered planning and decision-making process to create a shared vision for the future of Great Island. This process will involve multiple opportunities to engage with the surrounding communities through a variety of community meetings, surveys, and conversations.
